Talk:WWF WrestleMania 2000 (video game)
Appearance
Untitled
[edit]Removed Booker-T form game roster, he wasn't even on the WWF payroll at the time. Remember he was still in WCW during these years, he didn't even show up in the WWE video games until Xbox had their RAW series. ~Chaz —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.190.56.195 (talk) 23:33, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Moved as proposed. BD2412 T 20:56, 5 June 2021 (UTC)
- WWF WrestleMania 2000 → WWF WrestleMania 2000 (video game)
- WWE WrestleMania 21 → WWE WrestleMania 21 (video game)
- WWE WrestleMania XIX → WWE WrestleMania XIX (video game)
- WWE WrestleMania X8 → WWE WrestleMania X8 (video game)
- WWF King of the Ring → WWF King of the Ring (video game)
- WWF in Your House → WWF In Your House (video game)
- WWF No Mercy → WWF No Mercy (video game)
– These wrestling video games are all named after WWE events. However, the disambiguation is insufficient. For example, one would expect WWF WrestleMania 2000 to point to the event (WrestleMania 2000) rather than the video game. 162 etc. (talk) 15:31, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
- Support the names are very similar to WWE events. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 09:39, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
- Of course, I assume the old names would redirect to the PPVs. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 10:57, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- I guess that's worth discussing. My preference would be a redirect to the event; not opposed to a dabpage, where both the event and video game are linked. 162 etc. (talk) 18:43, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
- Support - I don't have much interest in (or patience for) move requests, but this makes sense to me. The article titles look too much like pay-per-view names, so the qualifier is necessary. GaryColemanFan (talk) 00:23, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Support - Yeah it creates confusion. Dilbaggg (talk) 12:08, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose - If the articles were renamed with the WWF/WWE names (e.g. No Mercy (video game)), I'd approve. Then you'd be disambiguating from the actual article names. It doesn't make sense to disambiguate from a redirect. Plus the events aren't normally referred to with WWF/WWE names attached, whereas they're obviously part of the game titles. --Jtalledo (talk) 10:30, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
- Support. As a reader, I'd expect the former terms to redirect to the events, not a related video game per the principle of least astonishment. (not watching, please
