Voŭpa → Vowpa – Generally such place names should follow BGN/PCGN romanization unless there is a clear common name per WP:BELARUSIANNAMES. In this case, there is no clear common name here. Mellk (talk) 13:27, 31 August 2023 (UTC)

Synagogue: long destroyed
[edit]The article states: "The Wołpa Synagogue is located in the town, and is reputed to be the "most beautiful" of the wooden synagogues of the former Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, a "masterwork" of wooden architecture."
This synagogue was destroyed 80 years ago. So how can it still be the most beautiful? --Wanfried-Dublin (talk) 12:49, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
