cheats
[edit]Firstly, it's been established before that wikipedia is not gamefaqs, so in the vast majority of cases, putting info about cheats and secrets for a game is innapropriate. And secondly, 'huge' is a very subjective term. There's been plenty of fighting games that had really big arenas before. --InShaneee 00:44, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
PC version
[edit]Well, This game wasn't only for Saturn. I've got PC version at home. It was released on 1997. More infos (some untranslated into Polish yet ;)) about PC version at pl:User:Holek/brudnopis/Virtua Fighter 2. Hołek ҉ 13:35, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
Sega Genesis Version
[edit]I suggest that this version is made in a separate article. Talude Talude --Talude 06:11, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Music Composer
[edit]The composer for the BGMs in VF2 is Takenobu Mitsuyoshi. If someone could insert this in the article would be good. I may be coming back later if I have the time, but until then, everyone is free to insert it :D D7maj (talk) 05:10, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
sales?
[edit]Does anybody know how well this game sold? i mean did it rival with any other games at the time? and shou, lld it say it is the best selling game on the saturn, though compared to other console's best selling games, it actualyy did not sell well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.233.100.129 (talk) 14:38, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
Release Date
[edit]Any one remember the original Saturn U.S. release date? I remember looking for it to come out even when the N64 was released which would put it around November 1996. I bought the Saturn May 13 1995 and remember having it for a VERY long time, over a year before VF2 finally came out for it. This article says it was ported in 1995 on Saturn which I think is wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.227.123.124 (talk) 14:20, 1 July 2012 (UTC)
- Your memory deceives you. The December 1995 issue of Sega Saturn Magazine reports that the PAL version is due out in January 1996 and that the Japanese version was already released. Also, just take a look at the copyright year on your copy of the game.--Martin IIIa (talk) 19:42, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
- The Saturn version of Virtua Fighter 2 was definitely released before the end of 1995 in North America, most likely in November, as established by the January 1996 issue of Next Generation (see the "Sony fights Sega on US streets" article for details).TheTimesAreAChanging (talk) 21:25, 7 July 2014 (UTC)

English and metric
[edit]If there's a number in a page use to measure something in a unit of a particular measuring system, it's always necessary to add the equivalent of the other system in parenthesis. 172.56.40.136 (talk) 19:48, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
