Oh, I so loved this game on Aquarius. Aquarius was my first computer. It had 4k of memory and a simple version of BASIC built in. I learned to program on this computer. Wrote little games and graphics things. Learned a lot about programming practices etc. This really brings back memories.

Yup. Had this on Intellevision when I was 4. Helped convince my parents that CVGs could be a good thing. Well, until I got Mortal Kombat, anyway, but then it was too late!--SidiLemine 13:32, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

one of my favorites of all time, too — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.49.6.225 (talk) 12:05, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Realtime not turn-based

[edit]

There are no turns in intellivision utopia. Each player plays at the same time.

Simulation vs Strategy

[edit]

This game is more of simcity style city building simulation game than a civilisation strategy game. Each player's activity is quite separate, other than sending over a rebel or pt boat.
