@Hurricanehink: The reason why I marked this as high was the $2.55 billion in damage to ≥364,000 hectares of crops and ≥36,000 houses + over 44 deaths. This may be seen here. Another 31 died after ships sank elsewhere (I know that is on the season article). Keep in mind this storm also affected numerous other areas. NoahTalk11:18, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Hurricanehink:Keep in mind Mangkhut had high importance with no damage total and less confirmed deaths then Lekima currently has. Someone with more time needs to go through and fix up this article as this is a very important storm. NoahTalk12:34, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Hurricanehink: I have seen estimates of $7.4 billion now. I note relief web states "Nearly 13,000 houses collapsed and some 119,000 were damaged, while 996,000 hectares of crops were affected by the typhoon". This would make Lekima the second costliest in China. NoahTalk19:19, 14 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
