Comment I think it's about time to WP:SNOW close. The recent typhoon in 2024 is not the primary topic because it did not have a major impact, and it's likely that the name will be used again in a future season. HurricaneEdgar 06:57, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose - The Typhoon Ampil redirect page should redirect to List of storms named Ampil if this isn't going to be moved, since Tropical Storm Ampil (2018) clearly is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC.
