Long-term block evasion
[edit]As is happening on the Timeline of women's legal rights (other than voting) in the 20th century, Timeline of women's legal rights (other than voting), Timeline of reproductive rights legislation, Timeline of women's legal rights in the United States (other than voting) and many others a blocked user who created this article Dante8 is using many accounts and IP addresses to edit these articles going back years. Just check the edit history of this article and go back, it is all the same blocked user. Most edits on this article since 2016 have been made by this blocked user.

- 100.34.237.4 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), this IP is the blocked account DoesWhateverASpiderCant
- DoesWhateverASpiderCant (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), DoesWhateverASpiderCant is clearly the same account MauveCricket
- MauveCricket (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), before this account this user was using the blocked IP 173.15.179.229
- 173.15.179.229 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), before that in 2020-2021, this user was using the blocked IP 100.11.62.135

- CobblersChildren (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), before this account the same user was using the blocked account
- SesameStreetCred (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), before this blocked account they were using the blocked account JaneSwifty in 2017 and 2016
- 76.98.184.25 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), an IP used in 2016, about 20 more could be cited.
- JaneSwifty (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), blocked sock-puppet of Dante8 who created the article.
All these IPs trace to the exact same location and the editing pattern, style and editing hours are the same. There is no doubt this is all the same user who created this article. This is long-term abuse that is happening on many timeline articles related to women's rights. Again, all the above can easily be found in the editing history just scroll back to 2019 and 2020, i.e. [1] and it goes way back to before 2017 [2] to the page creation in 2016 by JaneSwifty [3]. There needs to be page protection on these articles. Psychologist Guy (talk) 00:45, 2 November 2022 (UTC)
- SigurdsSister (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), same user is still evading their block and editing this article. I have filed an SPI here Psychologist Guy (talk) 21:57, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
Citation needed
[edit]Can someone add a citation needed tag to the claim that California gave women the right to wear pants to work in 1959? Can't find that corroborated anywhere else and the paragraph just cites the relevant law (originally from 1959) and forms. I'm not certain that the law as it stands today was entirely the same as it was in 1959, and if you search you can find a 1990s measure in California that apparently does the same thing. I think it might have been a later addition, and would like to see a secondary source talk about the history of that fair housing law.
