- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Sign your messages with four tildes (~~~~), be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Thanks! My friend showed me how to edit Wikipedia so hopefully I'm doing it right.
Karen Westerfield moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Karen Westerfield, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) There is only one reliable source covering the subject so far that I could find, so the article does not meet WP:GNG yet. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Disambiguation link notification for April 25
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cohl Furey, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Whole number. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Zeromonk (talk) 15:40, 25 April 2022 (UTC)Ways to improve Viktória Woth
[edit]Hello, DoesWhateverASpiderCant,
Thank you for creating Viktória Woth.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
What is needed are references from significant coverage about this player, and not their own words; in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS; that is your guide. Lists, Team rosters, pages listing matches and results, databases, Instagram, Facebook, none of these are reliable sources. (There have been changes to the notability guide for sports - see WP:NSPORT ) You may also read WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources. A more comprehensive guide is WP:SOURCES ... Providing sufficient references, ideally giving more information about this player, that meet these criteria is likely to allow this article to remain. Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that this article is not suitable for inclusion.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}

Anna Zdunik moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Anna Zdunik, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia).
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Clara Löh until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.

Cathryn S. Dippo
[edit]Can't you at least say something about what kind of statistician Cathryn S. Dippo was, where she was educated, and where she worked? Otherwise there is no point in having an article at all. See WP:NOTDIR. —David Eppstein (talk) 23:55, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
- Ok, I'm trying to find more stuff, I won't be finished till later tonight.
The article Cathryn S. Dippo has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Notability? Maybe there aren't sufficient references, but it appears unclear for now.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ari T. Benchaim (talk) 00:43, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from one or more pages into Timeline of women's legal rights (other than voting). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 14:21, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
Comment on your edits Suggestion
[edit]Many of the edits that you have made relating to the U.S. Coast Guard (SPARS, Women in the Coast Guard) do not have edit summaries and it is sometimes difficult to tell what has been edited. Please include an edit summary with each edit. Cuprum17 (talk) 20:56, 8 June 2022 (UTC)
