Red Jumpsuit apparatus is just considered Rock.... I haven't seen/heard them labeled as anything else.

Screamo?

I see it's been re-added. Is there something I don't know about this band, or is there an actual source employed somewhere in the article? I have heard some of this group's material, and I am at a loss as to how it could be screamo (though I have, by choice, heard very little of this band). I have also never heard them referred to as screamo until this article, if I recall correctly. Perhaps I'm missing something. Feedback would be appreciated. I suppose they could be referred to as screamo, there is screaming in the music, coupled with the pop punk melodies. However, due to Wikipedia usually being edited by sensitive and offended diehard fans, these types of bands generally get called post-hardcore... so says Rolling Stone] anyway. I find it completely absurd (and somewhat flattering, I suppose) that writers at Rolling Stone use us as a significant source. No wonder they're baffled at our not labeling certain bands as emo! Anyway, I'd like to point out that screaming can be found in a great number of genres (is RJA hardcore punk, black metal, and grindcore as well?) and that I've never heard pop-punk melodies in any of the screamo that came up until screamo supposedly became big (though I have heard what could, at a stretch, be described as proto-pop-punk elements in early emo groups like Gray Matter). Also, upon searching Google's useful News archive feature just before coming back to this discussion page, I found a number of venue-related articles relating RJA to screamo. However, a large amount of these also connected them with metal and pop, and I recall one actually stated that they were blending emo and screamo, something which to me seems strangely redundant. I think it was more a commentary on (or a stab at) the state of things here (or the editors, anyway). I've actually been meaning to bring that article to the attention of some of the Wikiprojects, so the experienced editors can monitor things like that more, because it is noticeable. You'll find a lot of us just ignore the whole genre issue until a style section is written... it just turns into pointless edit warring with people who just don't listen. So anyway... found a few sources: MTV, MTV, USA Today, Allmusic. I was leaning towards what you said, but on this evidence I think the term has a place in the article, which should really have a style section considering the extensiveness of the topic. kiac. There is screaming in some of their songs and it is used very well in most of them, in my opinion, to make good dancing/mosh/running/workout music. I'd like to put in that genres are just theoretical concepts to classify and sort music and new genres are invented all the time, it's evolutionary based on usage like language. However this band (and the same with many others) has many different songs that would fall into different genres (Your Guardian Angel). If you like the music, listen and enjoy, if not find something you like. Personally I dislike music with the genre classification: Gangster rap (demeaning women, I have money & cars, i'm so great & you're not, i'm such a thug, i've been shot many times, and etc.) but I like Linkin Park & Fort Minor which has some Rap. As an example I like rap which makes you think or describes an event like a poem. I dislike country generally, but I listen to Johnny Cash, and like some Taylor Swift music. There are screamo songs I have heard from bands that I like, but I thought it was just too much screaming and didn't work with the song, or you couldn't understand them (Alexisonfire sometimes). Controversy over photo theft

The band seems to have gotten themselves caught up in a considerable amount of copyright theft.
