Release date
[edit]The Debt has been released here in France last week (wed 15/06/2011), I saw it (under the title L'Affaire Rachel Singer). So I guess August is only for the US ? Aesma (talk) 09:37, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
Plot summary
[edit]I'd like to propose reorganizing the plot into two "sections" which are chronological rather than the constant shifting from time-period to time-period like the film did. The first section would describe the events in 1966, the second section would just describe the events in 1997. No need for bold or enlarged text to separate these two sections (like the plot summary for "Pulp Fiction"). I'll compose a re-organized plot summary of around 400-700 words and place it here in the discussion board and wait for a vote before editing it into the main page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by KeithLD (talk • contribs) 02:31, 11 September 2011 (UTC)

The Debt (2011 film) → The Debt (2010 film) – Although the film wasn't wide-released in the United States until August, 2011, it was originally released in September, 2010, so it is therefore a 2010 film. For confirmation, see IMDB, which also lists the film as a 2010 film. Tron55555 (talk) 15:38, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose. According to WP:NCF, disambiguation should be based on "the year of its first public release (excluding film festival screenings)." The IMDb list of releases dates mentions only festivals in 2010. Favonian (talk) 19:19, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
