Because most NES game cartridges lacked the ability to save, passwords can be used to start at a certain level. This is especially helpful as this game would take longer to complete in than is really possible for one sitting, let alone if the NES would stay on for that long. Start at any of the 80 levels, by entering the following passwords:

Passwords

I removed the passwords from the main section. I just don't think including a list of official passwords is encyclopedic.

Anyway the passwords there are also for the gameboy version too also the nes game only officially has 60 levels ( though a few extra stages will play) but the passwords for levels after 60 take you to glitch screens
