Tell Ur Girlfriend → Tell Your Girlfriend (Lay Bankz Song) – "Tell Ur Girlfriend" goes against the rules. Also charts should be added.96.43.189.203 (talk) 22:15, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose, known as "Tell Ur Girlfriend" in all sources. 162 etc. (talk) 01:01, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. It's the song's title. Station1 (talk) 04:36, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose move. It's consistently spelled "Ur" in reliable sources. O.N.R. (talk) 21:54, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. Tell Ur Girlfriend would be the correct title there is not anything else by this name so a disambiguation would also be not required. DanTheMusicMan2 (talk) 00:35, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose: Not a single source says “Your”. “Ur” is the WP:COMMONNAME and doesn’t violate any rules. CAMERAwMUSTACHE (talk) 01:06, 27 April 2024 (UTC)

Prose
[edit]Lead + quick facts
[edit]It was released through Artist Partner Group on February 7, 2024
===> It was released by Artist Partner Group on February 7, 2024
Atia Boggs and Johnny Goldstein co-wrote the R&B and synth-pop song with hip hop and dance elements, in which Bankz sings and raps over a Philly club-inspired beat about asking a lover with a girlfriend to tell her about their affair.
== this is too much for a summary, trim it a bit.- It was written by Atia Boggs, Lay Bankz and its producer Johnny Goldstein. Musically, "Tell Ur Girlfriend" is an R&B and synth-pop which explores love affair.
TikTok Billboard Top 50

- hair/beauty salon is a common term, why wiki link it?
Background and release
[edit]- Use ===>
- That's because the image is way too big, that will reduce its size a bit. Feel free to copy and paste.
- TikTok is overlinked, it can only be linked once in the body of the article. I suggest using the script at User:Evad37/duplinks-alt to identify and remove any wikilinks that appear more than once after the lead. The script will add a link on the sidebar that adds a red border around them.
- delink "debut studio album"
- delink "hair salon"
Composition and lyrics
[edit]- That caption on the sample is way too long for just a summary of the sound. I suggest trimming it to at least two sentences.
- 10% of 2 minutes and 3 seconds is 12,3 seconds. I guess it was automatically rounded off to 13.
- The song appeared in 26 charts and was certified in the UK. The commercial performance needs its own section and it must be expanded to cover most (if not all) of those charts.
- I don't see a Credits and personnel, why?
Media
[edit]- Add alt text to all the images.
References
[edit]Consistency is key. Remember that.
- Make sure all the references are archived. A Good Article can't be vulnerable to linkrot.
- This will most definitely not be an easy task since User:IABot isn't functioning like it used to. But you should try it.
- Link (website on) ref2, 4, 6, 10, 11, 14, 15,
- Ref3, TikTok is not a reliable source, find a better source.
- Ref7, website is YouTube. It's better to use the domain rather than the URL. Remember, consistency is key.
- Ref17 and 18, add

Don't forget to wiki link it.
Verdict
[edit]I'm inclined to quick fail here. This article needs a whole lot of work; copyediting, archiving, media fix, section expansion and also credits section. I suggest you take this to WP:PR, you can never go wrong with suggestions from multiple viewpoints. You may ping me when you are ready to renonimanate this, I'll gladly re-review it. Good luck! dxneo (talk) 20:56, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
- Of course this occurred during the time I was asleep. I will admit I nominated it based off of the fact it seemed simply LEAST likely to fail out of the other articles I made because it was heavily notable, it had strong chart performance, TikTok trend, it's genres are identified by highly reliable sources such as Billboard, but that was kind of it. I definitely wasn't expecting it to get GA status the first time so it's not that surprising it failed but I am not likely to try this article at GA again but who knows if I do decide to ask for the Peer review then maybe. - There's a lot to write about here. GA is really easy to get. I'll help you out within a week. Remind me if I forget. Better luck next time dxneo (talk) 23:47, 4 December 2024 (UTC)
