Merge
[edit]Article should be merged with article Syrian Social Nationalist Party. 37.76.74.211 (talk) 09:45, 11 July 2015 (UTC)
- Agree Support the idea, will add the merge tag.--HCPUNXKID 22:52, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
- Agree I see no reason that their Lebanese branch needs a separate page. The links can be compressed into a section about their operations there.--Somenolife (talk) 03:35, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
- Disagree This article seems very fleshed out, and merging it with the main Syrian Social Nationalist Party would likely make the article too long. It should also be noted that articles like this are not abnormal; ex: Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party – Lebanon Region, Armenian Revolutionary Federation in Lebanon SpanishSnake (talk) 22:31, 6 January 2018 (UTC)
- Disagree per SpanishSnake's reasoning. Applodion (talk) 22:24, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
- Closing, given the unrefuted opposition and hence no consensus for a merge over more than 18 months. Klbrain (talk) 18:05, 8 April 2018 (UTC)
Fascism
[edit]Multiple sources list the ideology of this party as being fascist or far right, with several references examining the party's establishment being influenced by fascism, adopting fascist symbology and aesthetics as well as ideology. However, there appears to be some people who disagree who are reverting without having looked at the sources. Are there any sources which disprove any of the academic sources which define this party as being fascist? Antiallesaktion (talk) 02:19, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
- According to the talk page of the Syrian branch of the party Syrian Social Nationalist Party the party is considered fascist by a significant proportion of the published literature, however there appears to have been multiple reverts since this was last included. I've fixed multiple sources and located the quotes from these primary sources. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Antiallesaktion (talk • contribs) 12:12, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
