– The film is likely the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. The only other article named "Suzume" (that's not related to the film) is about a song that only got 1.1k page views in the past month, making it unlikely to be more notable. A Google search of "Suzume" also shows results that mostly relate to the film. Harushiga (talk) 13:40, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Slight Spolier

Slight Spolier

Someone at some point in the movie, flys up into the sky

This was very similar to a scene from a 2013 anime movie ‘ Patema Inverted’ 146.200.7.104 (talk) 23:56, 15 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Japanese title listed as "Kanji"

[edit]

The film title is listed as "Kanji", despite the film title only being 25% kanji.

I'm not sure how to replace it with "Japanese" without render issues, so someone more experienced doing so would be appreciated. 97.95.34.242 (talk) 12:45, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Done I added a "Japanese" option to the template and updated this article to use it. Jruderman (talk) 04:50, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Another Slight Spolier

In this movie there is an animated chair

In 2014 Hiroyasu Ishida directed a 4 minute anime short Poulette No Isu [Poulettes Chair]

The movement and character of the chair is similar

[Though there only so many ways you can animate a chair]

In 2024 you can watch Poulettes Chair on the Internet 146.199.25.137 (talk) 19:40, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The chair at the end

[edit]

The plot summary says Suzume gives her young self the chair that had been Souta's body - I didn't get the impression that was the chair that Souta had inhabited, but rather that she found the original chair that belonged in the younger Suzume's timeline.
