Backdoor Pilot
[edit]The article says the film serves as a „backdoor pilot“. However, this is factually wrong as far as I can tell. Backdoor pilots usually serve as proof of concepts that lead eventually into a Series. Often these are also episodes of a different series. For instances Star Trek The Original Series had an episode „Assignment: Earth“ that was intended to serve as a pilot for a new series had Star Trek been cancelled then. Or the 2003 Battlestar Galactica Miniseries was initially shot to be just a standalone thing and then with the succes came the development of a Series. The Clone Wars already was in full development as a series and had finished most of season 1. As the article say (and ought to be well known among fans), the film was an afterthought to release four episodes of the show theatrically. It is essentially a preview or just the pilot. I therefore suggest to simple let the article state that it is „the pilot“ rather then „the backdoor-pilot“ of the show. 2003:E0:6F13:6463:B92D:3638:F14E:FAE5 (talk) 08:20, 23 June 2022 (UTC)
