New page of painter Stano Bubán

[edit]

Dear editor (admin), thank you very much for your help in creating the new page of the painter Stano Bubán on Wikipedia. I would like to ask, how I can generate links to external sources on the Internet in this way?: [1] I use the technique of linking to external sources using the icon on the page bar.

Please, could you send me a link to generate a link using your technique?

Many links to the cited opening of exhibitions, that Stano Bubán participated in as an exhibitor, are not on the Internet, so I cannot document them. But I used information about exhibitions from public sources. For example, from the source of the Academy of Fine Arts. This source is official. The website of the Academy of Fine Arts contains only verified information.

Similarly, the cited study stays do not have Internet links, so they cannot be documented, but Stano Bubán, as a university teacher, had to document all the information I provided on his Wikipedia page.Jozef Heriban (talk) 11:32, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dear editors, I added credible links to realized exhibitions and links to clearly credible sources. Please, can you, advise me, what else I should do to remove bars "This section does not cite any sources" from the sections Selected exhibitions, Study stays, Awards...? Thank you... Sources do not need to be online, they only need to be publicly available- like books in a public library. Personal statements from the subject directly to you, however, are not acceptable content as those are impossible to independently verify. 331dot (talk) 09:43, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There two different people with the same name

[edit]

Stanislav Ruban a Ukranian Footballer is different from Stano Ruban an Associate Professor. Editors should kindly take note and not redirect or merge the two. Tesleemah (talk) 08:27, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Theroadislong, I have looked at your work and I really appreciate your pages that you have created for Wikipedia. I have been dedicated to art all my life. I am a writer, screenwriter, dramaturge, film director, and for several years I lectured at three universities "Creativity in Marketing". I was the president of the Slovak PEN Center, which is part of PEN International. I am a member of the Slovak Film and Television Academy. I have also been involved in fine arts since my student days. That is why I tried to create a page for the academic painter Stano Bubán. I took pictures of his paintings at exhibitions and studied everything about him from public external sources. I do not know Stano Bubán personally and therefore I am not in a conflict of interest. I tried to provide only the most accurate information about him. That is all I want to say on this discussed topic. I wish you all the best in your life. Theroadislong Should we interpret their comments at COIN as a request to delete? 331dot (talk) 11:52, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't understand. Whose comments? Who is asking for the page to be deleted? Jozef Heriban (talk) 12:14, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You said "feel free to delete this". If you don't want it deleted, that's fine, but that sounds like a request for deletion. 331dot (talk) 14:49, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
