This article lists Yoshino Harusawa as being a playable character, can we get a source for that info please? Everything I've come across says that "Haru" is not a playable character.

Whoever listed Haru as normally playable is dead wrong. I already fixed the error.--TacticianJ (talk) 12:00, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Black Frost is also a playable character.

[edit]

But he's not mentioned here. What gives? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.55.31.193 (talk) 06:16, 7 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I added the bare description, but I'd really like to expand on every character's role in the article... However, I still need to complete a few more playthroughs.--98.109.218.165 (talk) 03:29, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Characters section

[edit]

Shouldn't this be moved to a separate page? There are a number of characters in the game with plenty to talk about, and it's usually standard practice to do so. Heavyweight Gamer (talk) 04:33, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

By all means, although it would need to be filled out with script references and any interviews Atlus did. Were there any for this game? Probably a few, but there probably weren't as many in-depth design conversations for this game compared to Persona 4. That was when Atlus really opened up to the press, at least on the American side.
And as a sidenote, on the Atlus Task Force page the suggestion reads that the section could be moved to List of characters in Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. Besides the fact that that's a really long title, the name should most likely be Characters of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. While this is indeed a list of characters, articles of this type have a lot more prose than a traditional list. --gakon5 (talk) 20:29, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Good point. Now that I look at, calling it "List of..." does seem rather dumb; I updated the to-do list to reflect that. As for interviews, I can't recall any that specifically discussed characters. I'll Google for some when I get home shortly, but if there isn't enough character discussion we'll have to try looking for Japanese interviews. I'd like to avoid taking too many quotes from the game if we can help it. Heavyweight Gamer (talk) 05:44, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, I usually don't like creating lists of characters unless absolutely necessary, and in this case there doesn't seem to be enough character development to justify a separate page. I think just making the list into prose form would be better, since it requires cleanup anyway.--ZXCVBNM (TALK) 00:18, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Could someone add the kanji for the characters' names? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.28.189.209 (talk) 16:30, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Release dates

[edit]

Does anyone know if this game will be released in the UK? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.145.145.88 (talk) 19:05, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sequel

[edit]
Devil Survivor 2 was announced in March 2011 in Famitsu. An announcement trailer was released on May 19, 2011. The game is scheduled to come out in Japan on the Nintendo DS on July 28, 2011. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.228.21.156 (talk) 00:27, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nintendo DS/DSi is leaving the market

[edit]

Some reference to the fact should be added to these videogame versions. It will be impossible to play these games again. This particular game would not be affected by the lack of a capacitive screen or the lack of a double screen or the relation between both, but most will in other devices. These texts risk becoming dead letter after the demise of the hardware platform.

Sorry, what are you talking about, and what kind of change are you proposing?--IDVtalk 15:15, 11 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I am also confused. Did Atlus announce something?Tintor2 (talk) 16:19, 11 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
