Did you know... that the discovery of the fossil of Shenshou, a squirrel-like early mammal from the Tiaojishan Formation, pushed the origin of mammals back to the Late Triassic, 220 million to 200 million years ago?

Contradict tag

I've added {{Contradict}} because the lead and lead image say 160mya, but the body says 200mya. Considering the importance of such a claim, we need to get this right. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 15:07, 25 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Crisco 1492: I just looked back at the original Nature journal, and it states that Shenshou is found in strata from around 160 mya, which pushes the divergence date for allotherians (and thus, mammals) back to around 208 mya.
