Rename Article to STEM fields

[edit]

There has been talks to rename this article to something less ambiguous, while also delivering importance of this field to everyday lives and academia. Can someone please help me rename it to STEM fields. Thank you! Williamwang363 (talk) 00:21, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Where is this talk? Dan Bloch (talk) 00:46, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No real reason has been presented for the change. Ramos1990 (talk) 17:14, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Frankly, that sounds like more an empty sales pitch rather than a request backed up by evidence. Nerd271 (talk) 17:35, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal to rename article

[edit]

I propose renaming this article to "STEM" (not "STEM fields" as indicated in the previous thread). STEM is the WP:COMMONNAME by any of the five WP:CRITERIA. Virtually all pages that link here do so as [[Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics|STEM]]. Dan Bloch (talk) 02:01, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
