- ALT1:... that professional Super Smash Bros. player Ezra Morris based the name he competes under, "Samsora", on a video game character, but later legally made it his middle name? Source: "Samsora and Kicking Butt in a Fighting Game as a Princess | Hot Juans Ep2 - Team Liquid Hungrybox", around 10:30.
- ALT2:... that professional Super Smash Bros. player Samsora chose to compete using Princess Peach in part because he liked the idea of "being able to kick butt as a princess"? Source: "Samsora and Kicking Butt in a Fighting Game as a Princess | Hot Juans Ep2 - Team Liquid Hungrybox", around 5:00.

Also for consideration, the variant wording:
- ALT0a ... that professional Super Smash Bros. player Samsora performed a runway walk while cosplaying as Princess Peach, the character he competes with, at a tournament in 2019?
I very marginally liked this one over ALT0, but I asked Discord and everyone else felt that ALT0 flowed better.

I've looked over this and your other articles relating to eSports players, and honestly I think I'm going to just fail these. I've been hesitant to do this for a while as I wanted to see if somebody else would take these, but it looks like that isn't the case. None of these articles I think are good enough to be GAs (some I don't think are even notable enough to have an article to begin with). They don't pass the GA criteria for a multitude of reasons - for Samsora in particular, here's why I've decided to fail it:
- Many of these sources are very dubious and I don't see them as being reliable. Smashboards is a fan forum, EventHubs and Dexerto are listed as unreliable on WP:VG/S, and I don't see how any of the YouTube videos can be usable. Only a few of these sources are actually okay, so I'm very skeptical on if this even meets our notability policy to begin with.
- A lot of the writing is not good. There's a lot of awkward-sounding phrases ("In January 2017 he took second in another minor tournament, Smash Conference LXIX, in what would wind up his highest placing in a tournament that year."), and even entire paragraphs that just go on and on and on and on ("In September 2020, someone claiming to be a friend of Samsora, as well as CaptainZack, the minor who had been involved in sexual misconduct allegations against fellow pro Smash player Nairo, alleged that Zack was the one who initiated the relationship via non-consensual first contact while Nairo was asleep and requested the payments to stay silent, and that Samsora had pushed Zack into revealing the situation publicly for personal gain, with the friend stating that even though Samsora knew about the situation, he continued to collaborate with Nairo on several occasions until the information was revealed publicly, and that "Zack had been in relationships with many adults, and Samsora had never cared" then."). This is not the kind of writing that is suitable for a GA and needs to be improved.
- How come the lead is so short? There's quite a lot of info in the article yet the lead just one paragraph and a few additional sentences.
These articles need a lot of work if they want to be GAs. I would definitely have somebody go and copyedit all of these, and replace all the unreliable sources with ones that are usable. Namcokid47 (Contribs) 18:21, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
