Fair use rationale for Image:Shadowson3dfloors.png

[edit]

Image:Shadowson3dfloors.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Prequel ...?

[edit]

Currently Reads: Prequel Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, released in November 2008, is the prequel to Sacred.[13]

To be changed to: Sequels Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, released in November 2008, is the Sequel to Sacred.[13]

Also perhaps some mention of Sacred 3 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.51.88.194 (talk) 13:21, 28 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect. Sacred 2: Fallen Angel's storyline takes place 1000 years before Sacred 1's storyline. That makes Sacred 2 a prequel of Sacred 1. Sacred 3 is instead a sequel of Sacred 1, even though the game (Sacred 3) has almost nothing of the gameplay formulas seen in Sacred 1 and Sacred 2. Hardly there will be a Sacred 4, considering the mass disappointment of the fans when they saw what Sacred 3 was about.

Instead ex-Ascaron members are now working on the game Unbended (http://www.unbended.zone/?lang=en) which is said to be the 'spiritual successor' of Sacred. This bit of news, I believe, is worth mention in the wiki page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.84.132.38 (talk) 17:36, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Unbended

[edit]

I am the author of the above unsigned comment on the Unbended project from ex-Ascaron members. I correct myself: scratch the Unbended project. At present the project is in a very 'smokey' state with only concept art and developers' words promising things to be. Years after the announcement of the project, and the appearance of an internet domain, and the appearance of a forum to post in, there is no game content to show at all. To say nothing of the plot.

One year ago the developer candidly admitted to have not begun work on Unbended for the first year after its announcement. Truth be told, on the surface it was meant to be an april fool's joke, but parts of the announcement didn't sound like it. The community reacted with doubts about the project. The joke backfired to the point that the developers had to officially state that it was a joke, reassuring and promising that Unbended was currently being worked on.

That unlucky april fool's joke would mean nothing today if only they didn't do it again, recently, and this time not in the form of a joke: they officially stated that the project was started with a delay of 1 year. But make no mistake, it is 1 year now and it was 1 year the last year: that's 2 years of delay -and 1 broken promise- already. Matter of fact, Unbended exists only in concept art images and words from a developer that keeps saying that the development didn't start when they last said it did.

It's wise to consider Unbended as 'vaporware' until you get solid proof of the opposite. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.84.169.202 (talk) 11:38, 17 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
