Dr. Isaacs is dead
[edit]Ian Glen's character, Dr. Alexander Isaacs, died during the 3rd Movie near the end after mutating into a grotesc monster, wich Alice promptly killed, due to the failed combination of a T-Virus infection and overexposure to the antivirus. Therefore, unless he appears through flashbacks(wich should be added) i'll delete his inlusion — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drumerwritter (talk • contribs) 08:37, November 3, 2015 (UTC)
That Isaacs from the 3rd movie was just a clone. In this movie we will see the real Isaacs. PetreaRares123A (talk) 12:28, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
Release date for Japan
[edit]Japan release date is in the article as 23 December 2016 and is supported by IMDb. IMDb is generally WP:NOTRS for future info but the release info is generally accurate. I've been looking for support on the web and could not find anything that met reliable source standards. There is mention of 23 December 2016 for Japan in a number of places but generally marginal sources just copy IMDb and those sources are dubious for use in a Wikipedia article. - Release dates should only include the initial release and the release in the country of production (ie - where the production company is based, in this case the US). I'm going to clean up that list today and get rid of the extra countries. jmcgowan2 (talk) 13:44, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
- As I warned you on your talk page, please do not blank sourced content. Your own original research may lead you to believe the film is an American-only production, but Wikipedia is not based on your opinions – it is based on what reliable sources say. In this case, we have a reliable source that says it's an international co-production. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 21:17, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
- My mistake. I didn't notice the international co-production part of the RS. Also, please remember WP:GOODFAITH and don't assume why editors make their edits. Sony Productions is the main production company and they're an American company, so I assumed it was an American production. An assumption is a much different thing than an opinion. jmcgowan2 (talk) 12:54, 3 February 2017 (UTC)

Giant, gaping PLOTHOLE
[edit]This wikiarticle should include the criticism 'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter' has received for dropping the continuity between the parts of the series. The most evident example being the character of the Red Queen whose origin is altered - in 'Apocalypse' she's Angela Ahford while in final chapter she's Alice herself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.27.40.172 (talk) 01:20, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
Unnecessary death spoilers in the Cast section
[edit]At WP:Film (for example, here), we've recently been discussing unnecessary spoilers, especially in the lead of Wikipedia articles. And per those comments and what WP:Spoiler states, I'm wondering why there is unnecessary character death information in the Cast section of this article. I find it odd and only being there to simply spoil people. I don't see how they serve an encyclopedic purpose (meaning that they are needed to enhance reader's understanding of the topic). It would be like us including the character deaths in the Cast section of the The Walking Dead (TV series) article. Sure, a number of those characters have Wikipedia articles for further detail, but still. Flyer22 Reborn (talk) 13:15, 5 August 2018 (UTC)

update re reboot
[edit]Articles includes "it is the final installment in the Resident Evil film series", but with Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is probably no longer final installment. Maybe change to "it is the sixth installment in the Resident Evil film series"? --EarthFurst (talk) 09:46, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
