People's Volunteer Army → Chinese People's Volunteers – The name "Chinese People's Volunteers" is the official name used by the Chinese government (State Council and Ministry of National Defense), and also the most commonly used name on the Internet via Google search results. "Chinese People's Volunteers" for 625,000 results and "People's Volunteer Army" for only 67,100 results. The former is nearly ten times the latter. Cfls (talk) 15:34, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose per WP:COMMONNAME and not needed. Even People's Liberation Army propaganda has used the term PVA at times, for example here. Amigao (talk) 22:52, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
