Why the "undisclosed paid" tag?
[edit]I don't see anything in this article to indicate that the undisclosed paid tag is warranted. What was the rationale for tagging it? Thanks, SparklingSnail (talk) 03:38, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
I'll remove the Technical tag soon
[edit]...if there aren't examples provided on Talk. There has been a bit of simplification done since the August 2022 tag addition but as far as I can judge there's little more to be done that would maintain fidelity to the field's own usage. Akwhitacre (talk) 13:36, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
Update: having given time for others to cite examples of what was too technical, I've removed the tag. 13:23, 3 February 2023 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Akwhitacre (talk • contribs)
Essay tag?
[edit]@Clovermoss:, what's the thinking behind the essay tag? There doesn't seem to be anything that meets the standard of "states a Wikipedia editor's personal feelings or presents an original argument". Akwhitacre (talk) 17:59, 24 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Akwhitacre, I added the tag because the article is written like an essay and doesn't reflect the summary style that should be used in articles. See this page for further information. As for presenting original arguments, that's a reference to this. Clovermoss🍀 (talk) 18:06, 24 June 2024 (UTC)
- Stereotype threat is an article that meets Wikipedia's good article standards. Maybe that'll help you understand what I mean here? Clovermoss🍀 (talk) 19:12, 24 June 2024 (UTC)
- Anyways, I'm doubting myself a little after browsing through articles within Category:Psychological theories. Either a bunch of these articles don't meet our quality standards or I'm being too picky about how such information is presented. This definitely reads more essay-like than summary style to me but it's possible I'm wrong. I'll leave that for someone else to decide. I've removed the tag in the meantime.
