Ace song, ace lyrics. Must have been fun, back in the day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Recidivist23 (talkcontribs) 11:48, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

‘Peeled’ it out?

[edit]

Maybe ‘pealed’? As in a ‘peal’ of bells? The original source might be wrong. You know rock journalists … and musicians … and their level of literacy. Just sayin’. 124.168.95.20 (talk) 08:17, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The quote is from drummer Jim McCarty's autobiography, which was co-written by Dave Thompson. Maybe they spelled it wrong. The applicable guideline includes: "If there is a significant error in the original, follow it with {{sic}} (producing [sic] ) to show that the error was not made by Wikipedia. However, insignificant spelling and typographic errors should simply be silently corrected (for example, correct basicly to basically)." I'm inclined to follow the first and add [sic], rather than to change it, unless you have some other reasons. —Ojorojo (talk) 14:17, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
