Hey. Sorry for the boilerplate; in a bit of a rush once again this evening. Some of that might be useful to your situation, some of it might not. TBH, the best way I found of learning the ropes was to dive straight in and make mistakes. As long as you don't call anyone a petty cunt, you won't get blocked for it. :-D On the other hand, some people can be quite dismissive of new accounts, and have a natural instinct to revert their edits. If that happens, it's "reasonable discussion" time; if you need to contact a particular editor, their page will be "User talk:[name]"; as you can see from, um, this one. There'll be a link (the +) at the top of the talk page to create a new discussion. Feel free to give me a shout, and if you reply to this, I'll see it 'cause your page is on my watchlist now.
