[edit]I have flagged this article as reading like an advertisement, both because of marketing speak (e.g. "considerably less expense than the national carriers", "designed to reflect OnTrac’s consideration for the environment") and because at least one of the principal contributors to the article (Dhouvener) is strongly indicated to be a "Social Media Marketing Assistant" at OnTrac.[1] shultzc (talk) 17:44, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
It seems to have cleaned itself up with multiple edits from different accounts, as an International buyer I found the Wikipedia's information about OnTrac was good and didn't read to me like an advertisement... 114.198.7.159 (talk) 06:48, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
The page still sounds like a marketing shill, the "multiple edits from different accounts" that supposedly cleaned it up were all without logins, and the language is mostly unchanged, overly flattering and sales-oriented. - KILNA (talk) 16:09, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
- I have to agree. I will make some changes, but it might be nice for someone to come in with sources of objective 3rd party information. Paulish (talk) 01:46, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
Body of the context altered to read more neutral. "Removed" more effective, and also removed marketing language describing its expansion into other states. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.227.254.3 (talk) 00:41, 1 May 2015 (UTC)
I read the article for the first time today, and as of now I don't see anything that warrants the flagging. From the comments it seems that was the case in the past, but does anybody still see anything objectionable? Hagrinas (talk) 17:19, 29 May 2015 (UTC)

I added The chairmen name
[edit]The company's real name is EXPRESS MESSENGER SYSTEMS, INC. but their trade name isOntrac this is why it is hard to find out information about the company chair because they are registered under a different name in arizona. i have added the chair to the infobox Javiern (talk) 08:19, 26 December 2012 (UTC)
See OnTrac Shipping – Company Profile. Yes Express Messenger Systems, Inc. is their parent company and that information is easily found in their website. But "real name" implies that Express Messenger Systems is the same company as OnTrac and that they are intentionally misleading. I think not. Sam Tomato (talk) 01:23, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
Company Reviews and Current Outstanding Litigation Issues
[edit]I propose a new section. This company has horrific reviews online and many outstanding claims against it for lost and stolen packages. It is not capable of tracking its own trucks per its own corporate office manager, nor can it track packages though it provides package tracking numbers and consistently provides knowingly false information to clients about the whereabouts of their packages. The online reviews of the company stand as proof of its incompetence and blatantly dishonest behaviors. Almost no interstate deliveries arrive on time as promised and when queried about the locations of said packages, the corporate office itself consistently replies with "I don't know." Further queries into the corporate office have resulted in admissions that they use contract drivers, sometimes mom-and-pop cars, and have no way of knowing who is handling your packages or where they are between the warehouse and your delivery address. No other delivery company in the world does this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.82.9.4 (talk) 16:07, 17 December 2015 (UTC)
Merger
[edit]The article says nothing about the 2021 merger between LaserShip and OnTrac, let alone that OnTrac has been the name of the company so merged and that it covers a lot more than 20 percent of the United States population.98.149.97.245 (talk) 13:47, 4 July 2023 (UTC)
- There is much current news about OnTrac and LaserShip/OnTrac in the trade industry news. Note Trucking industry in the United States and ask questions about Mergers and acquisitions. MaynardClark (talk) 16:25, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
