October 2024 Dahieh airstrike → Assassination of Hashem Safieddine – The current title is empty of meaning. We don't call the assassination of JFK the "November 1963 Dallas Shooting" because that would be incredibly stupid, and no one would know what the page is talking about. Likewise, the majority of the people reading this page will likely have no idea what/where Dahieh is. The singular purpose of this strike was to kill Safieddine just like the assassination of JFK had one intention. The title should be named accordingly. Afdshah (talk) 17:03, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- I agree, as it is the primary focus of the article and Dahyieh is constantly being hit, but 'attempted' should be added to the title until there is concrete confirmation of his death (not only claims by Israel or USA). Alternatively, If the current title format is kept, the precise date should be included (3 October). Mason7512 (talk) 18:08, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- Wait — No indication he is dead yet. elijahpepe@wikipedia (he/him) 22:29, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- Wait until confirmation Safieddine is dead, then support. estar8806 (talk) ★ 01:33, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: there are reports suggesting that commander of the Quds Force Esmail Qaani may be among the casualties [1]. If both deaths are confirmed move to Assassination of Esmail Qaani and Hashem Safieddine.

An edit (00:54, 6 October 2024) "Added date of Nasrallah's assassination." resulted in:
that killed Hezbollah secretary-general [[Hassan Nasrallah]]<nowiki/>on 27 September 2024.
This gives:
- that killed Hezbollah secretary-general Hassan Nasrallahon 27 September 2024.
There is no space between the words "Nazrallah" and "on". A space needs to be inserted between "]]" and the word "on", and then "<nowiki/>" is unnecessary.
that killed Hezbollah secretary-general [[Hassan Nasrallah]] on 27 September 2024.
