Sould this be an article?

[edit]

I think this sould be a article considering that 2 people have past away and over 42.3 inches (103 cm) has fallen. Oddballslover (talk) 04:48, 19 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I do not think this should be an article because it has to be more expanded and lacks some impacts. Sarrail (talk) 13:34, 19 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: Moved to November 2022 Great Lakes winter storm. There's consensus that the present name is not ideal, and at least two contributors who are happy with this as a title.  — Amakuru (talk) 11:15, 28 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

2022 Mid-November North American winter stormMid-November 2022 North American winter storm – Month should come before year, per WP:NCEVENTS 63.44.29.199 (talk) 22:20, 19 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think November 2022 North American winter storm would be better. That presumes, of course, there is no other major winter storm before the end of this month (which seems unlikely now). --Hammersoft (talk) 02:48, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: I have four proposals I think we call this November 2022 Buffalo snowstorm or November 2022 Buffalo winter storm those the first two proposals, but at the same time this lake-effect snow event affected four of the five Great Lakes, so it could also be reasonable to name it the November 2022 Great Lakes winter storm or November 2022 Great Lakes snowstorm me personally it's a bit redundant to keep the "North American" name in there since it only affected the Great Lakes region mostly Buffalo, if it affect a wider region in North America then we should keep the North American name there.

One fatality was linked in Indiana, but I think still near the one of the Great Lakes and other impacts occurred in Michigan and northern New York. I think if anything November 2022 Great Lakes snowstorm would be the best. Elijahandskip (talk) 03:27, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'll accept November 2022 Great Lakes snowstorm due to the impacts on the Great Lakes, but I'll also accept November 2022 Great Lakes winter storm as an alternate. Sarrail (talk) 13:53, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
