[edit]I removed the section on Lovett's death, as it was obviously rubbish. 220.239.79.175 11:31, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
Reposted the section about Lovett's death, as it is obviously genuine -Dave
Does anyone else think it's totally bizarre how much vandalism this page has received recently given the obscurity of its subject?Chapwithwings 17:35, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
It's not as obscure as poop deck, which receives a heap of vandalism. -Dave
I think we need a source on the Red Dwarf movie rumour, as I saw in a recent newspaper interview him saying there's definitely no movie. Vigimael —Preceding signed but undated comment was added at 10:34, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
- "(Series I and II, 1989 and Series VIII, 1999)" in the infobox. But "best known for the role of Holly in Red Dwarf during the first, second, seventh and eighth series,". How come?! Mohamed Magdy (talk) 07:57, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
- Norman Lovett appeared in the last episode of series VII as a guest star, but was a regular cast member in series VIII. 02:17, 4 March 2009 (UTC)Waiting for jam (talk)
Is It Bill Bailey?
[edit]quoted from http://www.normanlovett.co.uk/biography.htm
"After Red Dwarf, Norman had his own BBC2 sitcom called "I, Lovett", in which he played an eccentric inventor (also called Norman) and appeared in Bill Bailey's sketch show, "Is It Bill Bailey?"." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.23.56.12 (talk) 15:51, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Locked?
[edit]Any reason why the article is locked? Waiting for jam (talk) 00:41, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
- This article is currently the target of a long term vandal, and subject to gross violations of the BLP policy. Suggested changes by non-autoconfirmed editors can be made on this page, using the {{editsemiprotected}} template when there's no other response. -- zzuuzz (talk) 01:00, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
NPOV
[edit]I feel that the description of him being treated 'appallingly' by GNP as being far from neutral. There isn't any statements that have been made by GNP regarding their side of the argument; rather it's treated as something that's an objective fact- when it is highly disputed. 141.0.9.60 (talk) 09:03, 9 September 2011 (UTC)
Citation Needed
[edit]Is someone messing around with the amount of Citation Needed tags on this page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.25.190.243 (talk) 19:25, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Whoever put it next to several instances of the word 'he' was pretty funny, though 182.239.134.172 (talk) 09:58, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
Indefinite protection
[edit]I've applied indefinite pending changes protection to this article, and removed several statements without sources. The subject of this article may be a comedian, but that is no excuse for not adhering to BLP policy. Furthermore, there is a constant stream of subtly malicious edits from one particular long term vandal in Australasia. In addition, I've removed references to normanlovett.co.uk, which is different from normanlovett.com. Any statements currently in the article, and especially any additions, should be impeccably referenced and fully checked. Thanks. -- zzuuzz (talk) 14:23, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
