in uniform they all look alike
[edit]- This model shares the name with the convex great rhombicosidodecahedron, which is also called the truncated icosidodecahedron. Because of this confusion the word uniform was added to this article name.
To distinguish it from another figure which is, er, also uniform. Could this be better worded? —Tamfang (talk) 04:07, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- How about "Nonconvex great rhombicosidodecahedron"? It isn't convex. Only thing is I don't quite see where the squares are. —Professor M. Fiendish, Esq. 14:01, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- A good idea on renaming! And on squares, I agree, it would be better if we had a legend associating colors with faces. Tom Ruen (talk) 18:21, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
Could we not avoid this whole issue by using the names quasirhombicosidodecahedron and quasirhombicuboctahedron? Double sharp (talk) 15:09, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
