MideeyeMideeye party – I came across this article while doing NPP. Most political parties I've come across on Wikipedia usually have the term "party" in the article title. I am not sure what is common place in Somalia but a google search show "Mideeye party" being frequently used. I am happy for alternate suggestions. Asad Osman Abdullahi "Asad Diano"

[edit]

Rosguill merged Asad Osman Abdullahi into Mideeye, citing that the coverage only addresses the subject in the context of Mideeye, thereby redirecting it there per WP:BLP1E. The argument was that we can't justify an article for an individual who is only known for this subject and is otherwise a low-profile individual. I believe this merge should be reconsidered based on the following:

Please @Drmies, could you write a discussion page about whether to reinstate a main space article or remain redirect? thanks. QalasQalas (talk) 17:36, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
My original decision wasn't a case of WP:BLP1E, but rather WP:NOTINHERITED. I believe that the coverage now cited here is sufficient to justify a separate article, but it would be best to rewrite the article using these sources rather than restoring the old version with very poor sourcing. signed, Rosguill talk 21:09, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
