The result of the move request was: moved. Widespread agreement that this cricketer is not the primary topic, and thus must be disambiguated accordingly. Whether to turn the cricketer page into a redirect can be dealt with at AFD or the like. (non-admin closure) — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! (投稿) 03:48, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
Michael Beale → Michael Beale (cricketer) – The article of the football coach one was recently created and is going to be more well known as time goes by so it would make sense for "Michael Beale" to be a dab page with both articles included. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 16:44, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
- Note: The football project page has been notified on this discussion. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 16:48, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
- Undecided between straight Move or Move and redirect to List of Dorset County Cricket Club List A players. It is debatable if the cricketer is notable, and seen a number of redirects to such lists for such minor cricketers. Spike 'em (talk) 17:24, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
- Checking what links here says the article is linked by only one proper page, the one Spike 'em mentioned. There are however lots of user pages which has the article linked on them but that's because my own requested move is included on the template they include on their user pages. In the case the cricketer does get moved and redirected to the list page, it could mean the football coach one gets moved to base name instead of including a dab page. - Support per nomination and likewise support creation of a Michael Beale disambiguation page that would list Michael Beale (cricketer) as well as Michael Beale (football coach). —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 20:12, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
- Support, create DAB at base name.--Ortizesp (talk) 23:06, 1 June 2022 (UTC)
- Support, neither seems to be the clear WP:PRIMARYTOPIC at the moment. REDMAN 2019 (talk) 07:48, 2 June 2022 (UTC)
- Support the football coach has 19,850 views compared with only 2,027[[1]] for the cricketer. Crouch, Swale (talk) 07:51, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
