Requested move 11 September 2024
[edit]
It has been proposed in this section that Master Takahashi's Adventure Island IV be renamed and moved to Takahashi Meijin no Bōken Jima IV. A bot will list this discussion on the requested moves current discussions subpage within an hour of this tag being placed. The discussion may be closed 7 days after being opened, if consensus has been reached (see the closing instructions). Please base arguments on article title policy, and keep discussion succinct and civil. Please use {{subst:requested move}} . Do not use {{requested move/dated}} directly. |
Master Takahashi's Adventure Island IV → Takahashi Meijin no Bōken Jima IV – The current title of the page is not official nor commonly used, but just a literal translation of the Japanese one. I think it should be renamed with the original Japanese name, since it was never released outside Japan, or with the common "Adventure Island IV" to remain consistent with the rest of the series. This renaming had already been done, but was later reverted. GiAnMMV (talk) 06:59, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
- Minor point on transliteration: it's "-jima" instead of "shima" because it's being treated as part of a compound word, so if this is moved, that word should be "bōkenjima" as it appears in the source cited in the article. Dekimasuよ! 01:14, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
- I don't know Japanese, but you're probably right. --GiAnMMV (talk) 07:45, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
