Suggested Move
[edit]As this mainly deals with the oil spill more than the boat itself, can I suggest it is moved to 1996 Sea Empress Oil Spill. Any objections? Alexj2002 10:25, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, seems as there's been just the one oil spill, perhaps Sea Empress Oil Spill is a more appropriate title. Alexj2002 09:20, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Starfish
[edit]How can a starfish breed like a chicken?Cambion (talk) 13:49, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
- I would support a challenge and removal of content. kilbad (talk) 15:01, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Merge "MV Sea Empress" with "Sea Empress Disaster"
[edit]Any objections to merging the two? If no reasoned objections within 7 days, I will merge them. Dead air radio star (talk) 19:56, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- No objections, but suggest the two are merged at a more neutral title (e.g. Sea Empress oil spill), 82.152.253.16 (talk) 17:13, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- They are both notable topics so they both deserve articles. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 08:25, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
The article has about 1% info on the boat and 99% on the spill, they should be merged, and rewritten (the beaches were "ugly"??) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Klavss (talk • contribs) 06:37, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
Beaches
[edit]"200 kilometres of coastline were covered in cockr oil" This assertion is uncited. Also what is "cockr oil". Crude oil? Suggest this line is deleted unless citation provided. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RobHickling (talk • contribs) 13:23, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
