Bridge

[edit]

Just to say 'ello (and add some garbage to this page :-) ). It seems that mostly the two of us are current editors of bridge articles. I like your stepping-stone squeeze and I hope you like my compound squeeze (now that I fixed it :-D) (Actually, in the real deal ♥J and ♥Q were swapped, so it was a "simple played as compound" rather than a "pure compound".) Hmm, few years later I wonder whether it's applicable had the East returned a diamond in trick two... Anyway, regards & see you. Duja 15:18, 16 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You wrote, regarding Morton's Fork Coup, "Example - slight clarification for people finding it hard to follow. A very nice example." Thanks for clarifying & for the compliment. BTW, I think that "draw trump" vs "draw trumps" is an idiomatic difference, and neither is more correct. Matchups 01:47, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for confirming my sanity — I have already started questioning myself whether everyone else was right, and I was going berzerk, or it was maybe the other way round :-). Duja 12:40, 31 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling selectors

[edit]

On Abtract's talk page, you seemed to express interest in 'spelling selectors'. Should you wish to use them, the template is now called {{sp}}.

Thanks for the kind words! Dtrebbien 18:58, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well let's see if it works: {{sp|banana|GB=carrot|US=apple}} Cambion 12:37, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Success! I see carrot... :-) Cambion 12:38, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I see "apple"! Dtrebbien 02:04, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just so you know, {{sp}} was deleted. Perhaps another time something similar will come back ... Dtrebbien
