Little Mountain, South Carolina has more stories than just the geographic rising of a monadnock. For its residents were risen there themselves (just like the mountain) to a bit of, though mostly local, acclaim. Just because their stories are tucked off the beaten path away behind the haze of the small, simple, and long forgotten, does not give them the meaning of insignificance or disinterest. For it is in the small towns created by some unusual type freak of nature, that people clamor together for the usualness of life and find the small and everyday to be so useful to their meaning that it becomes the central theme that weaves together and creates strong sturdying lessoned lives. For in Little Moutain, it is certain that people look up to a higher cause. And it is more than just the mountain that causes their gaze to go higher, for through their loyal worship of the simple, while the world moves on in complicated progressivenss, there is at least a singular simple lesson, and quite possibly through the straightforwardnes of quite common sense more...much more...that others look back and find they have have left behind and lack because of the lose. For in the average and everyday, cleary seen by unobstruction of a mass of modern "emenities", the simple life stands firm at the base holding up the mountain so that it reaches a natural stature and stands tall and reaches high as evidence it is superior -- just like the Little Moutain.
That being so, please share your stories, if you are a resident, about your view of and from Little Mountain.

I added the unreferenced citation because the article lacks any references for its information, which is required for any article, and the South Carolina geo-stub because of its vagueness of information. I also had added a border since the page's previous author has not signed it. S Martin (talk) 00:06, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
