Each episode in this list used to link to an article about the individual episode. Most of the articles contained a full plot summary. The articles did not have sufficient references, however, and were changed to just redirect to this list. If you believe an episode deserves its own article, consider looking in the history of the redirect to see what work was already done. Please read WP:GNG andWP:NTVEP before creating articles for individual episodes. An example of one such article appears at Rising Malevolence. "Episodes in narrative chronological order" section
This has been removed several times as fancruft WP:TRIVIA violating MOS:TV. I agree with user:AlexTheWhovian that, while mention of the narrative chronological order might be useful, the relisting of all the episodes in the supposed chronological order is not something we should do. I will remove the tables and relocate the sourced mention of the timeline. Meters (talk) 20:04, 29 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
If there is an official chronological order (sourced) which is distinct from the actual broadcast order, I think it would be valuable to reflect it. I agree we shouldn't have duplicate episode list pages though. The more efficient way is to represent that with different numbering columns and allow viewers to click which column they want to sort the list by. Consider the A/B/C/D at List_of_The_Melancholy_of_Haruhi_Suzumiya_episodes#Season_1 for example. 70.51.193.44 (talk) 17:31, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The best solution would be a sortable table so you can see the episodes in either broadcast or chronological order. This eliminates the need for unsightly notes such as "takes place between episode 16 and 45," which doesn't help anyone. UpdateNerd (talk) 11:02, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Just leaving a link here to my recent edit on the matter, which includes an explanation in the edit summary. A lot of options have been proposed through the years, but I believe mine works as a compromise between all of them.--TheVampire (talk) 15:18, 4 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

To merge the 4 name epidsode articles into List of Star Wars: The Clone Wars episodes; views included draftiy, AfD (with merge as the likely outcome) and merge; there were no arguments in support of keep with current improvement, nor for improving while in draft; merge is hence most parsimonius with all views, and consistent with the last stated position (consensus via WP:SILENCE). Klbrain (talk) 16:24, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The other day I caused a bit of a mess by boldly draftifying the few episode articles that exist for this series:
I believe these do not meet the standards we expect for episode articles and should be improved or redirected to this list. Previous AfD discussions have found consensus for keeping the articles and improving them, so that is why I chose to send them to draftspace where they could be improved rather than redirecting them here. I thought this would be uncontroversial so I went ahead and made the bold moves, but Sirfurboy objected so the articles have been moved back to the mainspace. Now starting this discussion to get consensus before any further moves. What do others think about the below options?
Leave the articles as they are (knowing that there has been little interest in improving them over the last decade)
Redirect them to this list (if so, do we need to return to AfD considering the previous discussions there?)
Send them back to draftspace so they can be improved in the future
Thanks for raising this. I think they have to go to AfD. They are ineligible for draftify unless that is an AfD outcome (which I think is unlikely). A WP:BLAR would also be controversial in light of previous AfDs. My own view is that I doubt any of these are independently notable, and would probably say as much at AfD. It is likely, therefore, that I would say they should be merged or redirected to those pages (but would need to do some searching to firm up my view). You could attempt to tackle this through a merge discussion, but per WP:CONLEVEL, I think that this really needs a new consensus at AfD. Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 13:28, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Mainspace is where articles can be improved, not draftspace. There are several reasons that this draftification was wrong, two of which are named at WP:DONTDRAFTIFY: it shouldn't be done for articles over 90 days old; and other editors have asserted the articles belong in mainspace (at AfD). Why is it not a bulleted option for you to improve the articles? This would address the content issue at its root. — Bilorv (talk) 16:47, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am not interested in improving these articles at this time and I'm not sure why you think that is my job. I am just pointing out that these do not meet the WP:TV standards for episode articles and there has been little effort from other editors to improve them in the last decade. Draftspace literally exists so editors can improve articles until they are ready for the mainspace. - adamstom97 (talk) 11:22, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I see that all four articles now have merge discussion headers and they point here for the discussion. This is now a merge discussion, and draftification is moot. The question is whether these may be merged with List of Star Wars: The Clone Wars episodes or whether they are sufficiently independently notable that they should have their own articles. Merge or not? Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 12:02, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
