I've noticed that the official maps and website are now referring to this stop as simply Kingsway. I think this page should be moved to reflect this. Andrew (talk) 12:07, 19 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This sort of thing has happened with other Metrolink stops, see for example Talk:Chorlton High Metrolink station and Talk:Chorlton Metrolink station. As I recall from discussions elsewhere, the opinion was that they might change their mind again, so we should not move the page until the stop actually opens, at which point we'll be certain what the name is. What we don't want to happen is the creation of two parallel articles in violation of WP:CUTPASTE; I think that there are still some between Victoria and Oldham Mumps where a history merge is still needed.
I notice that a redirect already exists from Kingsway Metrolink station, so when the station opens we can WP:MOVE the page over the top of that - or not, as the case may be. --Redrose64 (talk) 15:22, 19 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
If you zoom in to the infobox picture, you'll notice that the station is (or at least was) called Kingsway Business Park. I wonder if they've changed that since? But this move seems to be correct - as per [1] & [2]. If they're using both forms then this move would probably still be the common name and looks a little slicker anyway, and can always use the full(?) name in the article. --Jza84 |  Talk  15:31, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I only noticed this when they published the new map when the East Manchester line opened. Since this station is opening next week, it's pretty safe to assume that this name is final. It wouldn't take much for Metrolink to peel the Business Park lettering off the signs, would it? Andrew (talk) 16:19, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Is it Kingsway or KBP? Crookesmoor (talk) 09:48, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It's KBP - I've just been on the system and the stop itself. It's announced as KBP, and signposted KBP. Metrolink.co.uk has it as KBP, with the exception of its map (possibly for cosmetic reasons). I think it needs moving back to KBP. --Jza84 |  Talk  14:57, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
