Metrolink name for this stop is now just Chorlton (source The Link 3), theyve dropped the 'cum-hardy' bit for obvious reasons. Question is since this page also refers to the former station should it be renamed or not? WatcherZero (talk) 03:48, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good Question. And of course the third option would be two articles, one for the old Chorlton-cum-Hardy station, and one for the new Metrolink station. I think this is a question for WT:GM, so I'll move the discussion there. -- Fursday 08:48, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Services section

[edit]

I've updated the services section, and in it mentioned that the last north-bound terminate at Piccadilly. I'm struggling to find a reference on the metrolink website for this though, even though this fact is clearly marked on the platform noticeboards at the station.

Does anybody have any citable information regarding an increase in tram frequencies prior to the airport expansion also? My own original research (and therefore unusable - I was chatting to a few Metrolink staff) suggests that plans to extend frequencies to 6 minutes are presently under consideration based on passenger numbers since completion, but if anybody has any references to this then please feel free to add. -- Fursday 16:00, 7 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
