Randolph EvansDeath of Randolph Evans – There is 0 indication this youngster was ever known for anything other than getting killed. As a biography, it's a complete fail of notability as WP:BLP1E. However, his death (and since no one was or ever will be found guilty of killing him, it's a huge stretch to call it murder) is probably notable.

Hence, this article should be moved to another title. Rather than just BOLDly move it, I realize the new title may be debatable, so we have an RM. John from Idegon (talk) 19:59, 28 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Comment upon above "Requested move 28 September 2016"

[edit]

Having voted in support of "Death of Randolph Evans" as the article's main title header, I should note that had the nomination proposed Killing of Randolph Evans or Murder of Randolph Evans, I would have also supported those. The accused officer was indicted and tried on the charge of "second-degree murder" and was found "not guilty by reason of insanity", thus sustaining the use of the other two proposed titles. The concurrent nomination Murder of Deborah GardnerKilling of Deborah Gardner, in which the perpetrator was also found "not guilty by reason of insanity", presents a different combination of circumstances, but a similar verdict. —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 15:07, 7 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Death of Randolph EvansShooting of Randolph Evans – Three years ago (Talk:Death of Randolph Evans#Requested move 28 September 2016), above, the main title header was moved from Randolph Evans to Death of Randolph Evans. However, a more-specific header would have been Shooting of Randolph Evans or Killing of Randolph Evans, as mentioned under post-move "Comment upon above "Requested move 28 September 2016"".
