Where does this article come from

[edit]

@Doug Weller, RegentsPark, and Utcursch: does one of you understand how a user who's made only ten edits can create such a long article out of nowhere? May it have been deleted before? Copied from somewhere else? Note also this line from the first version link:

In the Sangam text Perumpanatruppadai, the temple has been mentioned as Kamavelkottam along with Kumarakottam, which was then ruled by the Sangam-era King Thondaiman Ilandiraiyan.[citation needed]

"citation needed" is not what you expect someone to add to their first draft. Also odd are the dates in this tag: {{Use dmy dates|date=July 2020}} {{Use Indian English|date=July 2020}} And why does another new user submit it (also) diff? - Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 07:57, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's a copy from Kamakshi Amman Temple, right? My... Which User:Carnaticnerd edited from 5-7 april diff, trying to change the name from "Sri Kamakshi Amman Temple" to "Sri Kamakshi Ambal Temple." Also ping User:Theroadislong, who moved this (Ambal) article to mainspace. Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 08:21, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Joshua Jonathan@RegentsParkUser:Utcursch Deleted, but left this talk page, should we use the real article's talk page to note this? Doug Weller talk 11:28, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

And why was it submitted by another editor?
