Birthplace and Pronouns?
[edit]His or her audition tape (which is on youtube though I can't link it here) says he or she was raised in Fresno, but this Wikipedia currently says "According to her audition tape, Inthyrath was born...in Fresno, California and raised in Boston". He or she also says she was from Boston, but if she was raised in Fresno, how does the infobox know where she was born?
This page also refers to both Inthyrath and JujuBee as she/her exclusively while 'her' fandom wiki page uses he/him pronouns , but it doesn't show any WP:RS showing that she is trans or has declared a preference of pronouns. I was about to change stuff around but since I can't find any definitive RS either way, I put it to the talk page to try to figure out what we should do here. Does anyone have any experience answering these questions on other wikipedia pages? Kire1975 (talk) 00:59, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Kire1975 Unless the subject has stated preferences, we should assume using he/him when referring to Inthyrath and she/her when referring to Jujubee. Often, this looks like a biography with he/him in the Early life and Personal life sections, but she/her in the Career section. Of course, there are exceptions and different article structures, but that's a very general summary. I would recommend reviewing some of the Good articles at WikiProject RuPaul's Drag Race as examples. ---Another Believer (Talk) 02:43, 5 January 2022 (UTC)
Merger proposal
[edit]- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
- The result of this discussion was unopposed or uncontroversial merge. TipsyElephant (talk) 15:59, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
I propose merging Queen of Hearts (podcast) into Jujubee_(drag_queen)#2021–present:_Queen_of_the_Universe_and_RuPaul's_Drag_Race:_UK_vs_The_World. I think the content in Queen of Hearts can easily be explained in the context of the article about Jujubee, and the podcast appears to have only borderline notability. TipsyElephant (talk) 23:24, 22 December 2022 (UTC)
- After a couple of months with no opposition to your idea, @TipsyElephant:, I think you're clear to merge the two articles. Joyous! | Talk 16:35, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Joyous!: I was planning on merging at some point and closing the discussion as unopposed, I just got busy in real life. I'll get to it eventually. TipsyElephant (talk) 21:38, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
