[edit]Jschlatt is notable enough for a Wikipedia article, aye? Think we can whip up a draft of one?— Preceding unsigned comment added by Dylanstone2 (talk • contribs) 17:48, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
- @Dylanstone2: There's not enough coverage in reliable sources for that, sadly. –MJL ‐Talk‐☖ 19:46, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
Make into full article
[edit]I've found 9 pages worth of articles in the "News" section of Google. That's around 60 sources. I think that's enough for an article. Cereally8 (talk) 03:48, 25 December 2023 (UTC)
- Just checked, and you're probably right. I think he meets the notability standards as well. Pineappman (talk) 05:57, 31 December 2023 (UTC)
Page title
[edit]The main page say "jschlatt," which is technically his name or whatever, but I feel like it should be Jschlatt. GenEli1L1 (talk) 02:05, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- The J in jschlatt isn’t capitalised in any of Schlatt’s channels. I think keeping it as is should suffice. 2A04:4A43:51AF:F341:A04E:6AA1:27ED:1711 (talk) 16:01, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
Birth month and day
[edit]I can't seem to find any reliable sources to prove that jschlatt's birthday is September 10. I believe his birth year of 1999 is likely correct given his I Googled Myself video from December 2021[birthday 1] and a live stream from January 2022,[birthday 2] in both of which he claimed to be 22 years old at the time; however, the birth month and day of September 10 likely comes from when he trolled Famous Birthdays by claiming he was born approximately one day before the September 11 attacks[birthday 3] then backtracking over a year later,[birthday 4] I can't find any reliable sources to back up this birthday.

- While he did troll Famous Birthdays by saying he was born in 2001, he has stated in several podcast episodes that his actual birthday is indeed on September 10th. I don't remember what exact podcast it was though, unfortunately. Tico505 (talk) 00:48, 25 October 2024 (UTC)

JSchlatt real name
[edit]I believe this is concrete enough evidence to securely identify Schlatt as [redacted] and that he attended [redacted] High School. [redacted] 145.224.90.228 (talk) 19:52, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
- pretty sure this goes against Wikipedia:BLPNAME and Wikipedia:BLPPRIVACY as prev. versions with jschlatt's 'real name' were blocked for these reasons Mockapedia (talk) 11:48, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- At first, I thought it was a violation of WP:BLPNAME; however, after a thorough rereading, I learned that BLPNAME only regards the full names of private individuals, WP:BLPPRIVACY is the policy regarding the personal information of public figures. That was my mistake.

Change ‘[redacted] (born 1999), also known as Schlatt’ to ‘[redacted] (born 1999), known online as jschlatt’. Also add real name to infobox and fix infobox top name as it should be ‘jschlatt’. RNGHit (talk) 10:59, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
- Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Primefac (talk) 12:08, 25 November 2024 (UTC)

- Remove the request from a source-only message not to cite a certain (especially named) source, as it may only bring more unwanted attention to it. I suggest just telling editors to consult the talk page before making any changes to his name or birthday.
- It may increase the level of unwanted attention to the violating source.
