Jonghyun was confirmed to be dating actress Shin Se Kyung on October 26, 2010. They were first discovered on October 20 when Jonghyun was seen waiting outside her apartment. They broke up on June 20, 2011, with Shin's management agency they decided to become just friends instead. Monodramabase (talk) 19:48, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
- Not done: as you have not cited reliable sources to back up your request, without which no information should be added to, or changed in, any article. - Arjayay (talk) 20:05, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
- Here are two sources from Shin Se-kyung's article. I remember I had added them back in 2017 until someone removed them with some reason about "relationships being insignificant" or something like that:

Kim Jong-hyun → Jonghyun – Proposing moving the above page from the current full name to the mononym as per WP:COMMONNAME. The subject of the article is most commonly known mononomously and had never used their full name in any professional capacity. Article states as such that the subject was known mononomously. Additionally, it is unnecessary to disambiguate this article by using the family name because there are no other mononymous individuals with Wikipedia articles that share that name.
Referring to the subject as his stage name would bring the article in line with other members of Shinee: Taemin, Onew, and Key
Jonghyun currently redirects to Jong-hyun; propose moving over the redirect and putting a hatnote on this page saying something to the effect of "For other people with this given name, see Jong-hyun" RachelTensions (talk) 23:38, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
For reference, here are some of the WP:RS that refer to the subject as only his mononym: Korea JoongAng Daily [1], The Korea Herald [2], NME [3], Variety [4], People [5], E! News [6], South China Morning Post [7], CBC News [8], Entertainment Weekly [9], Billboard [10], Rolling Stone [11]
- Note: WikiProject Korea, WikiProject Pop music, and WikiProject Musicians have been notified of this discussion. RachelTensions (talk) 23:47, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
- Support: as per nom. It is clearly as day that the person is most commonly known by his mononym/stage name. 98𝚃𝙸𝙶𝙴𝚁𝙸𝚄𝚂 [𝚃𝙰𝙻𝙺] 00:35, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
