Talk:John Stabb (musician)
This page was proposed for deletion by IllaZilla (talk · contribs) on 8 May 2016 with the comment: Subject is only notable for his role in Government Issue, and already fully covered in that article. Separate article was only created in response to subject's recent death, which is covered in band article. It was seconded by Safiel (talk · contribs) on 9 May 2016 with the comment: Subject fails WP:NMUSIC. From that guideline,"Note that members of notable bands are redirected to the band's article, not given individual articles, unless they have demonstrated individual notability for activity independent of the band, such as solo releases." Subject was a member of a single band, and thus should not have his own article. It was contested by Cheapcop (talk · contribs) on 10 May 2016 with the comment: Removed Proposed deletion notice |

[edit]As for this...
"Subject fails WP:NMUSIC. From that guideline,"Note that members of notable bands are redirected to the band's article, not given individual articles, unless they have demonstrated individual notability for activity independent of the band, such as solo releases." Subject was a member of a single band, and thus should not have his own article."
Many more articles can be produced about John Stabb's countless other bands, solo release(s) and projects outside of music. He has at least one proper solo release currently not listed
