Requested move 27 August 2024
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. The result of the move request was: moved. Choosing Interim government of Muhammad Yunus as the title with the most support here. Per WP:NOTCURRENTTITLE, another RM can be opened to decide on a final title if needed.
As for Yunus interim government, per WP:NOTOTHERPAGES we should have a full RM for that, or decide if it should be moved or part of a merge, which optionally can include any desired move involving this page, if necessary.
As it looks like we may have a content fork, an RM or merge discussion probably should be opened to resolve that. (closed by non-admin page mover) ASUKITE 15:45, 12 September 2024 (UTC)
Premiership of Muhammad Yunus → Chief Advisership of Muhammad Yunus – He is not prime minister, we can't call it his premiership. Although Chief adviser is similar to the post of prime minister, they are not elected. They don't live in the prime minister's residence. Chief adviser is the head of the interim government who watches the country untill election happens. Mehedi Abedin 21:19, 27 August 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. - Move to Interim government of Muhammad Yunus. "Advisership" is a very rarely used term. I can see no sources that use that word to refer to the leadership of Yunus. Vpab15 (talk) 22:05, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
- Since there is already the article Yunus interim government. Could both be merged? Vpab15 (talk) 22:07, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
- I would also support this. Looks like at least half of this article is a fork of that article, and the rest could easily fit in the article on Yunus himself. estar8806 (talk) ★ 22:52, 4 September 2024 (UTC)
- @Vpab15 Yunus interim government article is about Cabinet. Tuhin (talk) 10:06, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
- I could see something like Muhammad Yunus as Chief Adviser of Bangladesh being appropriate, in line with Keir Starmer as Leader of the Opposition. It does sacrifice concision, but gains the benefit of precision over the current title. estar8806 (talk) ★ 22:49, 4 September 2024 (UTC)

- Move to Interim government of Muhammad Yunus. per Vpab15. "Yunus interim government" should also redirect to that. If the page at Yunus interim government is actually about the cabinet, then call it Cabinet of Muhammad Yunus or something. — Amakuru (talk) 12:36, 12 September 2024 (UTC)
Merger
[edit]I think this page should be merge to Yunus ministry cause it almost has everything on there it's like almost a copy of that with some extra. And making many pages of The interim government of Bangladesh can lead to confusion. Therealbey (talk) 16:33, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
