Lead section

[edit]

Dear, @GSS:, I think the version of lead that I added far more neutral than the current one (except some statement, we have to discuss here). Please identify which sentences you think need to be removed, rewritten. I followed the style of the lead of other universities while writing this lead. - RRRW (talk) 05:38, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@RRRW: First of all, I would like to know if you have a conflict of interest here because prior to your edit on this page there was an advert on a freelancing website seeking freelancers to update this page. Thank you. GSS💬 05:41, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
No conflict of interest. I don't know about any freelancing website post. -RRRW (talk) 05:49, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I would not edit this page/talk anymore. as there is allegations of coi without disclosure. thanks -RRRW (talk) 05:58, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I was trying to get our page updated but noticed that there seems to be an issue. Can someone explain where the problem is? Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sara191 (talkcontribs) 18:42, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Sara191: the problem is with the user who edited the page recently without following WP:PAID. Also, as per your comment above you appear to have a conflict of interest and may need to make a disclosure about paid editing. GSS💬 19:02, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the speedy reply! no, I am not paid, but I work in this institute. Sorry, I am a little confused, do you mean his edits were not good or he did not follow the procedure? I am no longer associated with him, so what's next? do I need to hire someone else with more experience? can you guide me on how to resolve the issue? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sara191 (talkcontribs) 19:12, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

They did not follow the rules before editing the page and were in a violation of terms of use. You might consider making an edit request on this talk page and allow other editors to update the page for you instead of hiring someone. We do not encourage or promote paid editing. I've left a welcome message on your talk page, this contains many useful links. GSS💬 19:41, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sir, I have no experience in editing Wikipedia profiles so I would appreciate if you can allow me hiring someone with more knowledge and experience. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sara191 (talkcontribs) 19:56, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
