Roblox Clicker Games

[edit]

Hello, fellow Wikipedia editors, I just want to let you know that there are Clicker Games on Roblox that should be mentioned in the "Incremental game" article. We could even add a link to the Wikipedia article that explains these Roblox Clicker Games. Well we don't have to do it, but it would be nice if we did.

@Joseph Souther: We would need reliable secondary sources to explain why this game is important in the context of the entire genre. There are hundreds if not thousands of clicked/incremental games out there. There are very few reasons to mention the vast majority of them, because they aren't special in any way. Very few of those founds at Category:Incremental games are even notable -- covered by enough sources to have a Wikipedia article. A game found within another game is even less significant. In any case, we need third party sources. P.S. You can sign your comments with ~~~~. —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 17:09, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ZenMOO

[edit]

I believe ZenMOO might actually historically be the first idle game.

Essentially, you idled for points. It lacked the sort of exponential increase common in most incremental games, but it was the first game I recall where a player was rewarded for doing nothing, and it was in 1993. Thoughts? Arcane2501 (talk) 11:12, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

To mention this in the article would require a reliable secondary source, see WP:V. Usenet postings and the like are not such sources, see WP:SPS. Sandstein 14:51, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
