Name?

[edit]

I see the game's name is listed here as simply "Imperium Galactica II", but my copy of the game is actually called "Imperium Galactica II: Alliances", is this perhaps an alternative name that was realised in some areas, or do I have some different version of the game? (Either way the "Alliances" part needs to be mentioned somewhere in the article).--Hibernian 09:49, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed it. - RoyBoy 800 22:02, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, good. I knew there was something not quite right about that.--Hibernian 01:43, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Shortening

[edit]

I'm thinking about moving the tables on:

  • 4.3.3.1 Civilian buildings
  • 4.3.3.2 Industrial buildings
  • 4.3.3.3 Military buildings
  • 4.3.3.4 Commercial buildings
  • 8.3.2 Capital Ships

To http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Imperium_Galactica_II:_Alliances/Tables

Am gonna leave a part of:

  • 8.3.2 Capital Ships

But just not all races compared to eachother.

Anyone got a better name for "Tables"? Or anyone has objections against this? Wikipedia started complaining the document is too big.

I've moved a bit and it's looking better this way. How should i categorize the Stats page? Jaapvstr 09:10, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Turn-based or real-time?

[edit]

I'm having a hard time figuring out whether this game is real-time or turn-based by reading the article. I understand that the tactical battles are real-time. Is the strategic layer also real-time? The article is listed under the turn-based strategy category. SharkD 02:41, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That goes for other games in the series, as well. SharkD 04:39, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I believe this is probably due to the fact that the game plays a lot like a TBS, and most 4X games are of the TBS variety. Also, the fact that you can alter the passage of time and pause but still give out orders kinda increases that perception. Personally, I would put it in the RTS category. Yeah it's defiantly not TBS, I've gone ahead and changed it to RTS. --Hibernian 12:39, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Added some text to make it more clear in the article as well. Jaapvstr 16:18, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
